Our History
TCT was founded by a group of parents, educators and theatre professionals who identified a need for the youth of Tuscaloosa to have opportunities to perform. From its humble beginnings in 1986, the organization has grown tremendously. Today TCT offers onstage and offstage opportunities for hundreds of children each year and performs for audiences of thousands of children annually.

TCT was organized to educate and expose the children of Tuscaloosa and surrounding counties to all aspects of stage performing and production.
Our Vision
TCT is West Alabama’s premiere performing arts organization dedicated to providing educational programs and theatrical experiences for all Alabama families. Through outreach efforts, community-building fundamentals, and the benefits of live theatre arts, TCT strives to provide the best opportunities that build well-rounded young artists who will lead this community’s bright future and beyond!
