TCT Teaching Assistantship Program

• Assist lead instructors during weekly classes
• Help demonstrate exercises and activities
• Provide individual attention to younger students
• Aid with classroom management and organization
• Support instructors with materials preparation
• Assist with performance preparation for showcases
• Serve as positive role models for younger students

• Capture photos and videos during weekly classes
• Create engaging content for TCT's social media platforms
• Work with the Media Team on marketing initiatives
• Submit media promptly for editing and posting
• Help with general studio tasks as needed
• Serve as a positive representative of Tuscaloosa Children's Theatre

Assistants are paid at the rate of $10 per hour. Assistants may forfeit their paycheck for volunteer hours if they wish.

Assistants will be matched with classes based on their experience, interests, and schedule availability. The full academic year commitment allows assistants to develop meaningful relationships with students and instructors while witnessing the growth and progress of their students.
