Support Us

A boy in an orange costume performs on stage with arms outstretched.

For more than 35 years Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre has promoted, encouraged and supported educational experiences for students of West Alabama in the areas of the theatre and performing arts. We produce a season of three shows a year and depend on season sponsors, both corporate and individual, to help cover the production costs of these performances. Without you, the children of TCT would not have the opportunities they have to nurture their love of theatre and performing arts.

Ways to Support

Shelley E Jones Endowment

Shelley E Jones Endowment

Shelley E Jones Endowment

The Shelley E. Jones Endowment Fund exists to ensure the long-term stability and growth of Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre. Contributions to this fund are preserved to support significant capital needs and strategic investments that enhance the organization’s facilities, programs, and future impact. This fund allows the organization to be forward-looking and resilient, providing resources for major initiatives or unexpected needs while protecting the integrity of ongoing programming. It also honors Shelley’s deep passion for student performances—now known as “Shelley’s School Shows”—and her commitment to keeping theatre accessible and affordable for school children throughout our community. Support from this fund will help TCT continue providing meaningful arts experiences to young audiences while keeping costs as low as possible for local schools. By contributing, donors help ensure Shelley’s vision for TCT can continue into the future while safeguarding our organization’s ability to serve generations of young performers and audiences!

Dee Ward Scholarship Fund

Shelley E Jones Endowment

Shelley E Jones Endowment

The Dee Ward Scholarship Fund exists to ensure that children throughout West Alabama have access to meaningful arts education and creative opportunities, regardless of financial circumstances. Contributions to this fund are dedicated to helping offset tuition costs for classes, camps, productions, workshops, and other arts programming offered through Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre.

This fund empowers young people to explore their creativity, build confidence, develop lifelong skills, and experience the transformative impact of the arts in a supportive and enriching environment. By easing financial barriers, the Dee Ward Scholarship Fund helps make participation possible for families who might not otherwise have access to these opportunities.

By contributing, donors honor Dee Ward’s commitment to nurturing young artists while ensuring that the joy, growth, and community found through the arts remain accessible to generations of children across West Alabama.
