Drew Baker (Artistic Director & Teaching Artist) brings over a decade of artistic leadership to Tuscaloosa Children's Theatre, where she has served as Artistic Director since 2022 after joining as Artistic Coordinator in 2009. Her approach to children's theatre education is rooted in the belief that performing arts provide essential life skills that extend beyond the stage.
Mrs. Drew has become a beloved mentor at TCT. Students and parents alike cherish her playful spirit, colorful storytelling, and infectious enthusiasm during rehearsals and classes. Her signature blend of theatrical wisdom and childlike joy creates a magical learning environment that has shaped generations of young performers.
Mrs. Drew's teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive environment where young performers can build confidence, develop their unique creative voices, and learn the value of collaboration. She is known for her patient guidance and ability to draw out the best in students of all experience levels, helping them discover their artistic potential while fostering discipline and dedication.
Autumn Fuller Bentley (Teaching Artist) has been involved with Tuscaloosa Children's Theatre and the broader Tuscaloosa theatre community for over 20 years. A 2020 graduate of The University of Alabama, she earned her degree in Secondary Education and went on to teach Theatre at Tuscaloosa County High School for three years. She now serves as the Director of Education for The Arts Council of Tuscaloosa (2023-Present). Autumn is thrilled to continue her work with TCT, an organization that played a significant role in shaping her passion for the arts.
Cole Cabiness (Program Director & Teaching Artist) is an accomplished director, choreographer, arts educator, and performer with extensive experience in theatre and dance.
A multifaceted artist, Cole holds a Bachelor's degree in Arts Communication (Creative Media & Theatre) and a Master's in Business Administration with a specialization in Film through the CREATE Path program at The University of Alabama. His professional experience includes performing with Red Mountain Theatre in Birmingham, Alabama, and working extensively as a freelance director, choreographer, and arts instructor for various theatre groups, schools, and studios.
Through his diverse talents and commitment to the arts, Cole continues to make significant contributions to the arts community in Alabama. Whether directing, choreographing, or teaching, Cole remains dedicated to fostering artistic growth and excellence in Tuscaloosa and surrounding areas.
Mary Kate Condra (Teaching Artist) is a Tuscaloosa native with over 10 years of experience as a children’s theatre director and teaching artist. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Montevallo and a Masters in Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama.
Off stage, she loves being mom to Lucy and Nate, and can most likely be found eating Mexican food or reading a good book. Mary Kate grew up on the TCT stage and is so happy to be teaching for this beloved organization in our community!
Kelley Brown Davis (Teaching Artist) is a seasoned choreographer and director with a lifelong connection to Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre. Her passion for the performing arts began at age nine when she took the stage in her first TCT production. Over the years, she performed in nearly 20 TCT shows, laying the foundation for a creative career rooted in youth theatre.
Kelley graduated from the University of Alabama in 2010 with a degree in Communications (Telecommunication and Film) and Theatre. While in college, she began choreographing for TCT and has since contributed her talents to numerous productions, helping bring stories to life through movement and stagecraft.
In Fall 2023, Kelley expanded her creative role by directing her first TCT production. She is thrilled to return to the director’s chair for Moana Jr. in Fall 2025.
In addition to her work with TCT, Kelley has served as the Director of Bibb County Children’s Theatre since 2015. She is grateful for the partnership and support of Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre, especially the generous sharing of set and costume resources that help bring productions to life for young performers in Bibb County.
Kelley is passionate about nurturing creativity, confidence, and collaboration in young artists and remains dedicated to enriching lives through the performing arts.
Allison East (Teaching Artist) joined the Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre Faculty after retiring to the area in January 2025 to be closer to family. She initially substituted for spring classes and taught a master class for the TCT Ensemble, after school drama classes at University Place Elementary School (one of TCT's partner schools), and summer camps (Alicevillle and Dancing Through Drama: A Wicked Theatre Camp).
Allison grew up in Montgomery where she started dancing at age 3. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Birmingham Southern College (where she also worked as set construction crew for the school theatre department) and a Masters and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The University of Southern Mississippi. She practiced as a licensed pediatric psychologist for almost 20 years, including the past 18 years in Morristown, TN (near the Smoky Mountains). In addition to her “day job,” she danced and taught ballet, ballroom, tap classes with a local studio, and she became involved in Encore Theatrical Company initially as Exotica in 2007 production of Cats and later including 10 years as a company member, choreographer for multiple productions, instructor for a musical theatre dance class, and numerous other performance and technical roles. She was also guest choreographer for three shows at Carson Newman University. Since moving to the Tuscaloosa area, she participated in the UA Alabama Shakespeare Project’s production of Law Against Lovers and looks forward to getting involved with other local productions.
Emma Foughty (Teaching Artist) is a Texas native who grew up in the Dallas area, where she trained for nine years at Chamberlain School of Ballet and later became a member of the Chamberlain Ballet Company. She also honed her skills in tap and jazz at Ballet Conservatory. In the summer of 2022, Emma expanded her dance and performance knowledge by attending the Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment Summer Intensive at Oklahoma City University.
An award-winning choreographer, Emma has also served as dance captain in several musical productions, including Theatre Tuscaloosa’s recent production of The Addams Family. Emma's performance experience includes school, university, local, and regional theatre productions. Her teaching experience spans two years at the Chamberlain School of Ballet, where she taught Musical Theatre Dance, Tap, Stage Makeup, and the History of Jazz.
Currently pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre at The University of Alabama's School of Theatre and Dance, Emma is thrilled to be joining Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre, where she looks forward to sharing her love for dance and performance with the next generation of artists.
Jordan Harper (Teaching Artist) is a music educator with over 13 years experience in musical directing and teaching elementary music. Originally from South Carolina, Jordan worked on or in over 20 productions through her undergraduate, graduate, and post-grade life before moving to Tuscaloosa in 2020. She has taught private voice since 2015 and enjoys broadening her students’ vocal styles and honing their natural skills. Jordan enjoys performing in local productions around town in her spare time, but her true passion lies in allowing her students to find and grow their unique voices.
Alexa-Grace Lindley (Teaching Artist) is a dedicated teaching artist with over seven years of experience inspiring students of all ages and skill levels. She is currently studying at The University of Alabama to receive her BFA in Musical Theater. She trained for 11 years with the Briarwood Ballet studying ballet, jazz, and modern. She has also had the wonderful opportunity to teach ballet, jazz, and coached many performers through the audition process in the Birmingham community. She considers it an honor to nurture a love for dance and performance in her students. Alexa-Grace recently honed her craft at the prestigious Joffrey Ballet School’s Musical Theater Intensive in New York City and has showcased her talents at The Green Room 42 in the Amy Murphy Creative Covers Cabaret as well as performing “Part of Your World” at Don’t Tell Mama NYC. She also served as a Teaching Artist Trainee with Atlanta’s renowned Alliance Theatre.
With a rich background in musical theatre, Alexa-Grace has performed in over 15 musicals and choreographed more than seven productions. She is thrilled to bring her passion and expertise to the Tuscaloosa Children’s Theater, where she empowers young artists to grow in confidence, creativity, and joy through the magic of performance.
Olivia Lee (Teaching Artist) is a recent graduate of the University of Alabama’s musical theatre program, where she attended with the goal of pursuing a career in arts education. Originally from Daphne, Alabama, Olivia grew up in a ballet focused dance studio, taking piano lessons, and performing at every opportunity. She auditioned for her first show, Annie, in 2017 and hasn’t looked back since! You might have seen her as Lucy in the University of Alabama’s You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown!, directing cabarets as the president of Alpha Psi Omega, the national theatre honor society, or music directing in this past summer’s Pirates Past Noon camp. Olivia takes specific interest in voice and music theory, emphasizing the importance of storytelling through music and songs within musicals. Olivia is currently getting her master’s degree in renaissance literature and the University of Alabama, which she hopes to utilize directing and teaching theatre in the future.
Jessica Prather (Resident Costumer and Teaching Artist) is the Resident Costumer at Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre, where she has been a dedicated member of the creative team for over three years. She brings more than eight years of experience in theatrical costuming, including five years as a costume assistant at Theatre Tuscaloosa. Jessica holds a degree in English Language Arts Secondary Education from the University of North Alabama. Outside the theatre, Jessica enjoys life with her husband and their two children.
Ally Marie Skelton (Teaching Artist) has been part of the Tuscaloosa arts community for over 10 years, performing and teaching in a variety of creative spaces. Now in her third year with Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre, she brings experience, energy, and a deep love for the arts. Ally is a rising senior at the University of Alabama majoring in Vocal Music Education and is set to graduate in 2027.
As a professional singer trained in musical theatre, blues, and classical styles, Ally has performed with numerous community arts organizations, including Theatre Tuscaloosa, The Actor's Charitable Theatre, and the Alabama Blues Project. Her passion for performance and education shines through in her work with young artists, and she is dedicated to helping every student grow in confidence, skill, and creativity.
In addition to her work with TCT, Ally has served as a choreographer at Northside High School, her alma mater, and as a theatre teacher at Crestmont Elementary School through the Tuscaloosa Arts Council. She has also taught private vocal and instrumental lessons in a variety of settings. Ally loves connecting with young performers and looks forward each year to meeting new students and helping them discover their voice on and off the stage.
